Welcome to the website for Shoreline Squares. We are a gay and lesbian square dance club located in Long Beach, California.  Our club is a proud member of the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs and the Western Square Dance Association.

We dance every Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 in the basement of the Immanuel Community Church, 3215 E 3rd St., Long Beach. We also hold club dances on the second Saturday of most months.

Shoreline Squares will be dark during the months of July and August. Our new class will begin on Thursday, September 4, 2008, with a thorough A1 review, and then progress into A2.

We pride ourselves on having a wonderful, warm, and welcoming environment and club members. We also benefit from having a terrific club caller and teacher. Please come by and dance with us. If you do not yet square dance, please feel free to stop by and enjoy the energy and camaraderie of our club and this fun pastime.

Membership, dances, and classes are open to everyone regardless of sexual orientation. We have no dress code and a partner is not required.
